FaerieScopes for March 2010

To find your “Scope” for the month of March, grab your favorite snack and look at the Nutritional Facts, find the calorie count for a single serving and then reduce that number to a single digit.  For example:  A single serving of Peanut Butter is 190 calories, so you would add 1 + 9 + 0 = 10, then reduce 10 down by adding 1 + 0 = 1, so your “Scope” will be number 1 below.  Have fun!

Scope 0 ~ You will be presented with an opportunity this month.  You have a choice whether or not you choose to move forward or stay where you currently are.  The nice thing about this opportunity, is that it doesn’t knock only once, so you can choose to move forward at a later date, if you decide to hold off now.  Spending time near bodies of water would do your heart well.

Scope 1 ~  Music and sound is where it’s at for you this month.  Surround yourself with inspirational sounds.  It may be a CD of your favorite band, but it might also be those wonderful sounds of nature, like the ocean.  Move your body!  Go out dancing.

Scope 2 ~  Learn to use your voice this month.  Speak your truth.  You are completely entitled to your opinion.  If someone does not want to listen to what you have to say, you may want to examine how your relationship is really working.  Rose quartz would be a nice stone for you to carry this month.

Scope 3 ~ Pay attention to your dreams, there is an important message there.  This is also a wonderful month to re-examine your goals, evaluate what is still relevant and important to you.  Adjust them if necessary.  Draw a Faerie.

Scope 4 ~ Remember that things are not always as they appear, especially this month.  Sometimes it’s how we are looking at things, that causes a little distortion.  Spend some time in nature.

Scope 5 ~  March is a time of contemplation for you.  Planning the next step.  Thinking about things, not necessarily, doing.  Try brainstorming. Fill your birdfeeders!

Scope 6 ~ This month is all about tapping into that powerful feminine energy, the Yin energy of the Universe.  Yes, this applies to you men, too!  Love and nurturing is available for you, if you choose to accept it.  Draw with colored pencils or better yet, crayons.

Scope 7 ~ You take on the roll of Sage this month.  Someone comes to you for advice.  Remember, you can only guide, you cannot fix things for them.  You can offer only gentle nudges and choices. Visit a nursery or flower shop.

Scope 8 ~  Don’t be too set in your ways this month.  Be willing to change your mind, when new ideas bubble forward.  Leave a little offering out for our Fae friends sometime this month.  Blow bubbles.

Scope 9 ~ You need to get out of the house and do something unexpected this month.  Something different than you’ve ever done before.  Enjoy the ride, you might just have a really great time.  Plant a flower.

To find your “Faerie (fairie) Scope” for the month of February, count the number of pennies that you have in your pocket or coin purse and reduce that to a single number.  For example if you have 22 pennies in your pocket add 2 + 2 = 4, your “Scope” will be number 4 below.  Have fun!

Scope 0 ~ Be aware of where you spend your time, effort, energy and hard earned cash this month.  Budgeting all of the above is order for this month.

Scope 1 ~  Troubles are behind you this month, you are moving to smoother waters.  Look forward to better times.

Scope 2 ~ So much to do, so little time.  Prioritize and tackle the most important things first.  Things that are low on the list, can wait.  Don’t sweat over the small stuff.

Scope 3 ~ You may want to gift yourself some quiet, alone time this month.  Think back over lessons learned and where you are heading.  No need to rush into anything this month.  This is a “think about it,” month.

Scope 4 ~ You need to get moving.  “I like to move it, move it, move it,” should be your mantra this month.  No rest for you.  Go out dancing.

Scope 5 ~ Check your records, is it time for a “tune up?”  This could be you or it could be your car.  Check both.  Better to do that routine maintenance, rather than wait for something to go wrong.

Scope 6 ~ For you, it’s all things in moderation this month.  Balance is the key.  Don’t over indulge, but don’t restrict too much either.  Go ahead, have that piece of chocolate, but just one!

Scope 7 ~ You have a project that needs to be shaken up, take it back down to the foundation and begin again.  There is a solid base to rebuild from, it will be better this time around.

Scope 8 ~ There is something you’ve been contemplating for quite sometime, but are choosing not to act on it.  Let it go.  Once you do, you will find a new door opens up.

Scope 9 ~ A gift comes your direction this month.  Receive it with an open heart and then find a way to pay it forward.

Have a Faerie filled, fun month!

What’s Your Fairy Name?

Columbine Goblinfrost picture My fairy is called Columbine Goblinfrost
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields & quiet meadows.
She is only seen during the first snow of winter.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers.
She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

I then had the good fortune of actually finding a fairy that looked just like her as I was shopping one gloomy snowy winter day.  She was like a cool breath of fresh air.  I promptly bought her and she sits on my desk smiling down at me everyday.

I came across this fun little exercise a while ago.  Why not try it for yourself to find out your personal fairy name.   I have found that children and adults alike love to do this.  It is something that can truly lighten up your day.

If you would like to share your fairy name, I would love to see it

The Fairies

“The Fairies” written by Rose Fyleman

bright yellow fairyThe fairies have never a penny to spend.

They haven’t a thing put by.

But theirs is the dower of bird and of flower

And theirs are the earth and sky.

And though you should live in a palace of gold

Or sleep in a dried up ditch.

You could never be as poor as the fairies are.

And never be as rich.

Since ever and ever the world began

They have danced like a ribbon of flame.

They have sung their song through the centuries long

And yet it is never the same.

And though you be foolish, or though you be wise.

With hair of silver or gold,

You can never be as young as the fairies are,

And as never as old.
